SCENAR

A Scenar device works by emitting short electromagnetic pulses that mimic the body’s natural nerve signals, which are then sent to the brain, prompting it to release neuropeptides and endorphins that promote healing and pain relief at the affected area, essentially “reminding” the body to heal itself through a process of biofeedback communication with the nervous system; this makes it a non-invasive method that aims to stimulate the body’s natural healing mechanisms rather than masking pain with medication.

SCENAR stands for “Self-Controlled Energo-Neuro Adaptive Regulator”.
The device delivers low-frequency electrical pulses through the skin, which are similar to the body’s nerve signals.
The Scenar constantly adjusts the electrical pulses based on feedback from the body, creating a two-way communication with the nervous system.
This communication with the brain triggers the release of endorphins and neuropeptides, which are natural chemicals that promote healing and pain reduction.
Unlike many other pain relief methods, Scenar therapy does not involve needles. It can be used to stimulate acupuncture points without needles.

Dr. med. Jörg Prinz trains therapists and laypeople in the use of SCENAR devices. He regularly gives webinars and wrote the text books used in SCENAR training. For more information see www.scenar.nz
